What to expect when completing a Zamdit questionnaire

1. Introductory Note
Zamdit is a comprehensive hiring platform that helps employers manage their recruitment process, including the ability to send online questionnaires to candidates via email invitations.
As a candidate, you don’t need to create an account. If you’ve been invited to complete a questionnaire, simply click the link in the email you received to get started.
2. What Are Online Interview Questionnaires?
An online interview questionnaire is a set of structured questions that candidates complete as part of the hiring process. In Zamdit, these questionnaires can include multiple-choice questions, written responses, file uploads, and even recorded video answers.
They allow hiring teams to gain deeper insights beyond your CV, such as communication style, past work, and references, early in the process. Instead of attending a live interview, you’ll respond at your own pace (within the deadline), giving the team a more complete understanding of your skills, experience, and personality.
3. Invitation
If you’ve been invited to complete a questionnaire, you’ll receive an email directly from the hiring company. This email includes information about the role, the company, and a personal link to access your questionnaire.
The sender may use a custom domain or a Zamdit email address, depending on the company’s settings. The email content may vary, but your unique access link will always be included, please don’t share it with anyone else.
Most invitations include a completion date. If it’s not mentioned in the email, you’ll find it clearly displayed in the instructions on the Welcome screen. You don’t need to start right away, but be sure to submit your responses before the due date.
4. Recommended Equipment
To ensure the best experience when completing your questionnaire, we recommend the following setup:
Laptop, Desktop Computer, or Mobile
Using a laptop or desktop computer is strongly recommended. While mobile devices are supported, smaller screens may limit visibility for some question types. For the best experience, use a full-sized device with a stable internet connection and physical keyboard.
If you use a mobile phone, ensure you’re using a supported browser (such as Chrome, Safari, or Firefox). Depending on the question type, rotating your device to landscape mode may improve visibility.
Camera and Microphone
You may be asked to record one or more video responses. If your camera or microphone isn’t connected, you won’t be able to proceed with those questions.
- Make sure your camera and microphone drivers are up to date.
- If your browser prompts you for permission, click Allow to grant access.
- You can choose different camera or microphone devices before recording your answer.

Internet Connection
A stable internet connection is essential to ensure your answers are saved and submitted properly. If your connection is interrupted, you can refresh or return to the page later. The questionnaire will resume from your last unanswered question.
5. Welcome Screen
When you click the invitation link in your email, you’ll be taken to the Welcome screen. Here, you’ll see a custom message from the hiring company and a list of questionnaire instructions. Please read these instructions carefully before starting.
If you don’t feel ready, you can exit and return later, as long as it’s before the deadline, which is always clearly stated in the instructions.

6. Answering Questions
Questions are presented one at a time. Once you submit an answer, you won’t be able to go back and change it. We recommend completing the questionnaire in one session, but if you need to pause, you can use the same link from your invitation email to return and finish any remaining questions.
You won’t see a total question count because the questionnaire may adapt based on your previous answers.
Question Types
Zamdit questionnaires can include common formats such as multiple choice or written responses, but there are a few special types that may require explanation:
Video
These questions require you to record a video in response. Video answers help hiring teams assess your communication style, confidence, and body language, giving a more complete picture than written answers.
Before recording:
- Find a quiet, well-lit space where you won’t be interrupted.
- Make sure your face is visible, speak clearly, and look at the camera.
- Plan your response before hitting "Record."

When you click the Record video button, a recording interface will appear. You’ll see icons to check your camera and microphone status, view available time, and start recording. If you have multiple devices, you can use the Settings icon to select or test a different camera or microphone.

As you record, a timer will show the remaining time. If you reach the limit, the recording will stop automatically. After recording, you can review your video and re-record it as many times as you like before submitting.
File Upload
Some questions will ask you to upload documents, such as work samples, certificates, or portfolios. Carefully read the instructions to know whether you should upload one file or multiple, and which file types are allowed (e.g., PDF, images, text).
Reference Check
These questions require you to provide contact details for references. Be sure to check how many references are required, and whether they should be professional or personal. For each reference, provide their full name and email address.
7. Thank You Screen
Once you complete all questions, you'll see a Thank You screen confirming that your answers have been submitted.
- Your responses are immediately available to the hiring company.
- Zamdit does not participate in the selection process, any follow-up will come directly from the employer.
8. FAQs and Troubleshooting
Who can I contact if I run into technical issues?
If you experience any technical problems, check this page first. If the issue persists, contact the employer who invited you, they’ll be able to assist.
Do I need to create an account to complete the questionnaire?
No. Zamdit questionnaires are by invitation only. You do not need an account, just click the link in your invitation email.
Why can’t I log in?
Candidates don’t log in to Zamdit. If you're seeing a login screen, return to your invitation email and use the link provided. If needed, copy and paste it directly into your browser.
Can I go back to previous questions?
No. Once a question is submitted, it cannot be changed.
Can I skip questions?
Only optional questions can be skipped. These are clearly marked as "(optional)" in the question text.
Can I take a break during the questionnaire?
Yes. You can pause at any time and return later using the same link, just be sure to submit all your answers before the deadline. After the welcome screen, the system will resume from your first unanswered question.
What if I miss the deadline?
You won’t be able to access the questionnaire after the deadline. To request an extension, contact the employer who invited you.
How do I resume my questionnaire?
Click the original link in your invitation email. As long as the deadline hasn’t passed, you’ll be taken back to where you left off.
Can I complete the questionnaire on my phone?
Yes, but we recommend using a laptop or desktop for a better experience. If you use a phone, rotate it to landscape mode when needed to view longer options or rating scales more clearly. Use a supported browser like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
What if I lose my internet connection?
If your connection drops while answering, wait until it’s restored or refresh the page. If you refresh, you may need to re-answer the current question.
Will I receive feedback or see my results?
Zamdit does not provide feedback or results. It’s up to the hiring company to review your responses and follow up with you directly.
Can I complete the questionnaire more than once?
No. Each questionnaire can only be completed once.
How much time do I have to answer each question?
There is no time limit per question. You can take your time with each answer, as long as you finish before the overall deadline.
Are my responses saved automatically?
Your answers are saved as you submit each question. If you exit midway, the next time you return you’ll pick up where you left off.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Zamdit follows industry-standard practices to keep your data secure. Your answers are only accessible to the hiring team at the company that invited you, and all data is handled in accordance with GDPR.
